Bursa Malaysia Today Market Preview

Today's Market Preview
Selling pressures on the Malaysian stock exchange should subside  today. Its benchmark FBM KLCI – which dropped 6.1-point or 0.5% yesterday – may dingdong with a sideways performance while waiting for fresh leads to surface.

This comes as the external sentiment will probably pick up a  little following an overnight rise on Wall Street. Key U.S. barometers ended between flat to +0.7% at the closing bell lifted partly by expectations that there would be no further fallout arising from the alleged frauds case in Goldman Sachs, as well as positive corporate earnings momentum.

Back home, we will get to check the latest quarterly financial results of Malaysian listed companies when the likes of Bursa Malaysia and Tenaga announce their report cards later today, which could translate to individual share price reactions.
